I presume the learned professor means ‘more than were killed in Iraq and Afghanistan’. The term ‘casualties’ usually includes those who were injured as well. It’s still sad and disturbing when accurately reported. Are there comparable figures for Vietnam?
I was delinquent. I just quoted the remark the learned professor made on TVO’s Agenda. I should have called him and asked for a more precise statement.
