Summaries of this sort deny individual thoughful response. Many people would be interested in discovering if there was a way to create artificial intelligence (though once it occurs, is it artificial?). And I think what you are labelling ‘conservative’ is more ‘religious’ or ‘fundamentalist.’ There are many fine thinkers along the spectrum – and I have to say when I hear ‘liberal’ these days, political opportunist comes to mind – not open inquiry or interest.
