In 1789, the French Revolution brought us Liberty, Equality and Fraternity.

In 1794, the Reign of Terror.

16,584 persons were beheaded by the guillotine, not usually for anything they did, but for what they were – aristocrats, for example.

    Given the botched chemical executions happening too frequently in the Unites States these days, would a return to beheading by guillotine (in jurisdictions that still endorse the death penalty) be a humane development, in that it is a foolproof method resulting in instant death? I hope this suggestion is not prophetic…

    There are now specially designed “guillotine trains” in the USA built by Gunderson too be deployed throughout America to behead dissidents.
